- Beneath the rounded brow the face is divided into red and white halves, the colors switched at the grinning mouth with carved wooden teeth. With white spots on the red side and red spots on the kaolin-white side. Large square eyeholes, simplified nose with two metal rings. On custom Gallery stand.
- Measurements: Mask, approx. 11" x 7" x 3".
- Provenance: Estate of Thomas McNemar, (1931-2020). McNemar lived and collected throughout Central and West Africa in the 1960s and 70s. He established galleries of African Art in New York and San Francisco, selling to Museums and Public and Private Collections in the United States and Europe.
