  • The Lega are a Bantu forest people of Central Africa, established in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in the provinces of South Kivu and Maniema.
  • A similar mask (general shape, mouth and dimensions) is published page 154 in "Masques, Dapper, 1995," 
  • Measurements: About 9 1/2 Inches high
  • Condition: Very good with fine patina
  • Base is included
  • Circa 1920-40's
