  • The Reushi is the powerful Forest Hermit in Thai Culture and Mythology that is believed to have magical healing power and medicine skills and can act as a spirit medium between worlds of the Living and the Dead, the Earthly and the Spiritual.
  • Reushi Amulets are believed to Protect the Health of the wearer and ward off bad luck and misfortune.
  • Reushi, which is also referred to as Lersi,is pronounced more closely as Ruesi, which is used in Thai parlance, but originates from the Sanskrit term Rishi, meaning, a Vedic sage. During Shakyamuni's time, there were various Rishis who taught Him before he fully consummated as Buddha.
  • Measures approx.  1 1/2" x 3/4" x 1/2"
  • Material: hand cast terracotta lovingly painted and burnished with beautiful detail and adorned with gold leaf.
  • Origin is Thailand
