- Senufo Kpelie Mask, Ivory Coast
- A Senufo Kpelie mask, Ivory Coast, of oval hollowed form, a delicate face with a protruding mouth with a lip block, a long curved nose with a broad tip, narrow eyes, the eyebrows connected with the nose, raised and incised scarification patterns on the smooth surface, the face framed by elaborate abstract appendages, atop a little seated male figure, the mask pierced through at the rim for attachment; brown patina, traces of age and ritual use.
