The Story
- Hand Wound and Inlaid Glass Trade Beads with a striking "Starbust" disc pattern created in India in the 1940-70's specifically for trade with Naga Tribal Groups in Northern India, and Burma. They also traveled through the Cultural Trade Routes to Nepal and Tibet, where they were highly prized for their unusual colors and vivid patterns. These gorgeous trade beads became precious cultural heirlooms for their extravagantly creative shape and rarity in their own right.
